Yes, my country has a king! After 33 years our queen Beatrix gave her thrown to her son King Willem Alexander. What a big day in the history of our country. I’m watching it right now on TV and it’s amazing to see the love of our country for our queen and king.
I’m really happy that we have a kingdom in our country. We are all celebrating today that we have an amazing new king! Every year we celebrates queensday on this day so this will be the last queensday and next year we will have our firstย kingday.

I have many great memories on celebrating queensday through the years. It’s the biggest party in the Netherlands and everyone seems to love it. Our country and it’s people are orange everywhere!
Last year I celebrated it with my friends and some of my favorite guys; the Backstreet Boys in Amsterdam. I’ve had a great time with my friends and the boys.

A couple of years ago I celebrated queensday in the USA with all of my friends there, we’ve had a blast. We’ve introduced our way of partying to our international friends and we’ve had a great night.
