Wow! Summercamp is already over!
Time was flying by way to fast and I can’t believe that I am back in my hometown at work and only have my memories left to enjoy.
This year was my most favorite year. I’ve worked hard and I had a fun time with all my colleagues. I recognized that I’ve grown a lot in the last 2 years while being one of the 6 project leaders and I must say that I did a good job. Because we prepared most things very well there was less stress and conflicts which made it more relaxing and enjoyable for all of us. Can’t believe it’s over…
This summer we had almost 2400 kids, 100 staff members and lot’s of fun under our wings and I’m glad they all had a great time and stayed safe. During the last week we’ve had less kids, but many great activities for our staff like Live Combat Laser-games in the woods, a night swim and jacuzzi fun at the swimming pool and on our final night we had a big goodbye-party with a nice buffet of great food and some fun music to dance too. What a night! We even had crazy afterparty which was so much fun!
I really enjoyed my time at camp… I loved seeing the kids having so much fun, all the smiles, all the hugs. I loved working with out great staff who’ve helped us so much! I also loved my team of specialist which made my life so much easier because they all rocked and worked so hard to make sure all the kids had a great time at all the core activities. Thanks guys!
But most of all I would like to thank my fellow project-leaders who’ve made this project a fantastic one!
We’ve worked hard, laughed hard and I will miss you all even harder 😉
Hopefully we will be continuing again next year and celebrate our 40th anniversary which will be amazing! If we will get enough money by sponsors we can DO THIS and make all these kids have a great summer!
Right now I’m back at work, working many extra shifts because my colleagues are on vacation, so I’m quite happy to work some more hours! I also found out today that I’ll probably will be going to one of my favorite festivals (Lowlands) as a reviewer in a few weeks, which saves me 185 euros for a ticket. I’m super excited because many great bands will be performing there so I’ll have a great time there! A week before I’ll be reviewing another smaller festival called Huntenpop which I’m also pretty excited for! So lot’s of live music for me in the next couple of months! Yay! Loving my life at the moment!
Most fun part… I’ll have more time to make blogs again! Yay!
ahh glad you had so much fun! Love the pictures, you look so happy! 🙂
thx babe! I was happy! Loved it!
