Last night Simple Plan came to my hometown. Their re-scheduled concert from last August was finally here. We could almost call it a small festival because they had 3 (!!) support acts. The first act MakeBelieve I didn’t really watch because we arrived late. The second act were Destine, they were ok, but not exceptional at all.
Then it was time for We The Kings, who I thought were pretty good. I liked their sound more than the other two support acts. They joked around and said a million times how sexy we were. Well thank you..haha.
After almost 3 hours it was finally time for Simple Plan. Our feet were already killing us, esp. the ones with high heels on, but it was worth the wait.
The band had a lot of energy and the audience was more than ready. They played old and new songs and the fans sang along to all of them. They celebrated their 10 year anniversary with us and St. Patrick’s Day, even though days were the day before and the next day, but whatever reason you have to party is a good one, right?!
The guys all looked fit and played well. Their voices sounded good and they delivered a good rock show which everyone seemed to enjoy very much. They promised to be back soon, so we can’t wait to see them again!
